An example that we can give of kantian equilibrium is recycling since we will do it with greater certainty when the others do it. As must of us have essentially the same preferences over the public good achieved by recycling and the disutility of our own effort ; and trust has been built by observing that, indeed, many others are recycling.
Recycling has become an important matter in recent year, must of cities have policies concerning to this. However, must of this policies doesn´t establish a penalty if a citizen fails on doing so.
I found this example and other in an article by Roemer called “How we coopertate”; and the examples given are interesting since it´s a new way of thinking of them, one example is recycling but also voting, paying taxes and tipping could be behaviours that could be explain following the kantian logic.
